Tulamben
Tulamben is the home of the USAT liberty shipwreck, a colourful wreck that has now been covered in hard and soft corals and a perfect nursery for the juvenile reef fish. Can see various species of garden eels, can spot a turtle or 2 and the Drop Off typically has a large school of fuseliers then lots of seafans and colourful corals.
Padang Bai
A relatively short car journey to the quant village of Padang Bai through some beautiful Bali countryside reveals some of Bali’s best diving. Offering great variations in marine life that will suit all levels whether you are looking for tiny critters or larger fish and turtles the dive sites around Padang Bai will not disappoint. These sites are great for photographers of vary experience and are sure to offer up some great shots.
Nusa Penida
Nusa Penida is one of the most amazing snorkel locations in the whole of Bali , Indonesia. For snorkeling you have the chance to witness Manta Rays, and Mola Mola in the same day. The beautiful colourful top are reefs full of hard corals, coral bommies and reef fish. The top reef slopes down and is a wall with sea fans and great for seeing turtles.
Candi Dasa
These three islands have a nice coral wall with a lot of underwater life.This is one of the more challenging dive sites in Bali because of the tricky current. The temperature is around 26-29 degrees. In the season July-October, colder water is coming up and bring the Mola Mola (sunfish) to a depth of around 25 meter. You also have a good chance to see whitetip reefsharks.
Amed
Amed is a 2 hour drive from Sanur and has some of the best macro sites in Bali. Set against a backdrop of black sand and often stunning walls, it is a great place to take some truly memorable photographs.
Sanur
The reef is home for lionfish in all sizes, big pufferfish, clownfish and small barracudas. There are moray eels, sea snakes and shoals of batfish. If you are lucky, you may find a hidden scorpionfish or octopus and small shrimps. Along the reef, steel structures forms like pyramids to create an artificial reef where corals are growing on and fishes are living in.
