Some Chocking facts and a glimpse into Divemaster internship in Bali and how they help to make a difference for the Environment !

When you start your professional diving career what better way is it to start by cleaning up your new Office ? Conducting a Project AWARE Dive against debris is only one of the things you can do to make a difference for the Ocean!!  Several time During the Divemaster internship in Bali with Crystal divers we conduct Ocean clean ups, where we report the data to Project AWARE http://www.projectaware.org/  They collect and use this data to be able to target specific groups in an effort to stop the mad plastic dumplings into our Oceans.

So Conduct a dive against Debris and learn how to report the date so it can be used, assist in various fund raising projects such as Second hand sale, beach clean ups, fish net removal projects but more importantly spread the word to all divers you dive with and set a good example as PADI professional.

It takes between 20 to 1000 years for a plastic bag to break down and that is into small pieces and those small pieces will continue to do damage the nature since they breakdown into chemicals that are toxic to the nature.

Hundreds of thousands of marine creatures dies every year from plastics that they eat or get trapped in. It is impossible to put an exact number on how many dies from all the plastics every year.

Approximately 1 million Sea birds also dies every year from various types of plastic.

Conduct a Beach cleanup, do a dive  against debris, organize a fundraiser for Conservation projects there are so many small things you can do to make a difference for our Oceans.
